Will mathematics count? computers in mathematics education

This report contains the results of a review published in Mathematics in Schools. The report emphasised that the special relationship between computers and mathematics was not found with other schools subjects. This relationship is a consequence of the role which mathematics has played in the development of technology, and of computers in particular, and of the ways in which computers are used to help solve mathematical problems.
