Pure maths (advanced level mathematics)

"Pure Maths" is designed to help students to make the transition from GCSE to successful A level work. Early chapters revisit GCSE material from National Curriculum level 7 onwards, extending it into A level. The remaining chapters complete the syllabuses, providing many exercises to reinforce the material, including plenty to stretch the more able pupil. The 29 chapters and 7 consolidation sections include questions taken from recent examination papers. Also included are longer exercises, which are often of an investigative nature. The book finishes with a set of Mock Examinations of A level standard and complexity. Throughout the book particular emphasis is given to numerical methods and the use of computers and there are three sections on computer investigations.
