A discussion of food and consumers. It is part of a series which explores the subject of food technology at GCSE level, dividing it up into core areas such as food processing, ingredients, the food industry and designing and making food products. T

he contents closely follow the Food Technology course requirements. Features include: case studies and interviews; fact boxes highlighting technical or industrial figures; design and make projects; and suggested resources such as books, Web sites and places to visit.
