Future of flight - environment
In this Future of Flight challenge pupils explore what we mean by climate change and what greenhouse gases are. They match the molecule diagrams to their descriptions and investigate rising temperature by setting up mini greenhouses. They also explore the lifecycle of an aircraft, upcycling and the circular economy as well as looking at what the future of travel looks like and how we generate electricity.
If the original physical materials boxes are not available then most of the challenges can be adapted to use items that are easy to find in most classrooms or around the house.
Welsh language versions of the guidance documents are also available.
