Luggage of the future
This is one of a series of resources from the IET designed around the theme of the future of flight with the purpose of developing pupils knowledge and skills in design technology and mathematics.
In this activity, pupils are tasked with designing a new item of luggage that travellers can use to store and carry their belongings. They will create a list of design criteria for the luggage, apply mathematical knowledge in measuring the objects that need to be carried, then design the luggage itself.
