Fractions of the squad
In this resource designed by the IET, pupils use their knowledge of fractions and percentages to describe football squads and select a team. Can someone else work out which team they have selected from the fractions and percentages they have used to describe it?
The purpose of the activity is to deepen understanding of fractions and percentages as ways to describe proportion or parts of a whole. There are opportunities to look at equivalent fractions and equivalence between fractions and percentages.
