What is climate change, what’s causing it and evidence of climate change
These videos were part of the STEM Learning Climate Change Teacher Conference, in May 2021.
The first video features Professor Andrew Shepherd, from the University of Leeds. Professor Shepherd presents research which focuses on measuring changes of the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets, on understanding their interaction with the global climate system, and on establishing their contribution to global sea level rise.
The second video introduces case studies and resources developed with schools. We hear from Dr. Verity Jones and Dr. Sarah Whitehouse, from the University of the West of England, and teachers from Raysfield Primary School and Cotham Gardens Primary.
