Taco Cart
Act 1
A Taco cart is shown on a beach. Two people set off from the same point and head towards the Taco cart. One person walks directly across the beach. The other person takes the shortest route to a path and then walks along the path. It is possible to walk faster on the path than it is on the beach. Which person will reach the Taco cart first?
Act 2
Photographs give the dimensions of the scene and the speeds of the two people.
Act 3
A video reveals that the person using a combination of the path and the beach reaches the cart first.
Sequel
A subsequent problem involves using the path but not taking the most direct route to it. How long will it take to reach the cart?
