Easy PEAsy Seed Germination

From the Biotechnology and Biological Science Research Council (BBSRC), this investigation has students looking at the conditions needed for seeds to germinate and grow. It is suitable for Key Stage Two students investigating the growth and reproduction of plants and gives teachers suggestions for questions to ask, approaches for investigation and clear instructions for planning the activity. There are also explanations for the results, both expected and unexpected. BBSRC is a part of Research Councils UK (RCUK).
