Science topics for infants

In recognition of the popularity of topic-based teaching methods in infant and first schools, this book presents 20 science topics in detail and links them to the relevant Attainment Targets for Key Stage 1.

The book contains over 300 simple experiments for pupils, and over 100 child-centred activities. Each topic is designed to fit one or more science AT at a number of levels and has an introduction, planning chart, resources list and a range of experiments.

The book also includes notes on recording achievement and a master individual record sheet for use with pupils.;Together the experiments provide complete coverage of the National Curriculum in Science at Key Stage 1.
