Gardening by design (technology in context)
Gardening by Design is designed for teacher of 5-11 year olds wishing to use gardens and garden centres as a context within which their pupils can use the technology process.
It focuses on the design, planting and care of a garden and the running of a garden centre. Activities include making miniature model gardens, designing paving areas, planting marigolds, making products to sell in a garden centre, making bird scarers and investigating garden equipment such as wheelbarrows ad trolleys.
