Fife mathematics project: photo-reduced copies of the workcard booklet used during session 1971-72

This booklet has been produced in response to frequent requests for specimen sets of the workcards used in the Fife Mathematics Project. They are mostly in an initial form although some have been modified in the light of experience. This booklet, mistakes and all, will enable those interested in the use of workcards to get the feel of the work tried out in Fife.

Concern of Fife mathematics teachers about the teaching of mixed ability classes led to plants to try out a workcard approach in co-operation with G Giles, Department of Education, University of Stirling, who devised the material.
