Maths Magic’s aim is to make mathematics more appealing and enjoyable for students and to open up new opportunities for them in STEM subjects and careers. This collection consists of twelve teaching ideas covering a variety of subject areas - number, algebra, space and shape, handling data, mechanics and physics.

Maths Magic was a STEM project funded by The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to help widening participation in Higher Education. The HEFCE distributed public money for teaching and research to universities and colleges. It closed on 1 April 2018 and was replaced by UKRI and Office for Students.
