Professional Development Leadership at STEM Learning - Invite only FD033 / A25
Summary
This course introduces the refreshed Professional Development Leadership Programme at STEM Learning. It is designed to equip all Professional Development Leaders (PDLs) with the knowledge and understanding required to facilitate our CPD and/or deliver consultancy work directly to schools on behalf of STEM Learning. You will explore STEM Learning’s vision, mission and goals, gain clarity on our impact and ambitions, and understand the new PDLP structure and offer for 2025. The course also revisits the PDL standards and expectations, and provides a full overview of our updated impact and evaluation framework, including the responsibilities expected of you as a PDL moving forward. By completing the course you will be included in our Database for contracting moving forward.
Who is it for?
This is a mandatory unit of the new PDL Programme and therefore is for all current and aspiring STEM Learning Professional Development Leaders (PDLs).
How long is this course?
Live-online - 3 hours (2 Hours + 1 hour AI module)

Outcomes
- Consider the STEM Learning vision and goals and describe the impact towards those goals
- Explore the STEM Learning offer and reflect on the potential impact of each part of the offer for schools and teachers
- Consider how we apply the PDL standards & expectations to ensure we deliver consistently high quality CPD
- Develop understanding of the importance of impact and evaluation data and how we gather that information
