Join us to explore the content of the mathematics GCSE and discover approaches to develop fluency, embed mathematical reasoning and support mathematical problem-solving. You’ll work with experienced subject specialists to cover the key concepts students need for success, and a wide range of classroom-based approaches to implement when back in school.

What topics are covered?
We will explore what fluency, reasoning and problem solving can look like in Key Stage 4, as well as key concepts in proportional reasoning, including ratio, percentages, gradient, trigonometry, compound measures and more.

- consider approaches to teaching some of the 'hard to teach' topics at GCSE level
- develop an action plan to help you put theory into practice in your setting
