Summary
Teachers of mathematics who are in the early years of their teaching career are invited to join us to develop a range of teaching strategies to help engage and inspire students in maths.
You will explore approaches to questioning, promoting positive behaviour, lesson design and ways of giving feedback that make a difference.

Who is it for?
Mathematics ECTs (Early Career Teachers), RQTs (Recently Qualified Teachers) or trainee teachers who are teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 for the first time. This may also be a good introduction to the subject for a non-specialists looking to teach secondary mathematics
What topics are covered?
You will consider what make good maths teaching, how to embed mathematical reasoning, problem solving, effective questioning and feedback strategies into your teaching, how to plan for learning and more.
