Summary

Climate and air quality science are quickly changing and often motivating topics for students. We will investigate where we teach climate science and air quality across the biology, chemistry and physics curriculum and look at developing the student understanding as a holistic approach in the separate sciences. This course will also draw on a bank of real air quality data, including from school classrooms, to bring relevant and engaging scenarios to your teaching.

We will look at interesting contexts you can use in your teaching and the exciting current and emerging roles we have in the sector.
